Community involvement
The 11th Annual Gasparilla Island Kids Classic Fishing Tournament was held on June 11. US Health Partners provides funding for 20 local students to participate in the tournament each year. The partnership of Kids Needs and US Health Partners makes it possible for these students to enjoy an afternoon on the water surrounding Boca Grande. Each receives a bag filled with generous gifts along with snacks and drinks to take on board the boats. With a captain, first mate and observer on board, the student anglers experience the excitement of tarpon fishing. Pictured below are the dynamic dozen from US Health Partners.
